13. Leeks Marina
Leeks Marina has a little pizza place that is just about the best pizza I have ever had. I don’t know if it has to do with the beautiful view from the dining area or what, but I love eating at Leeks.
What You Need to Know
This restaurant gets pretty busy around dinner time, so plan accordingly. It is common to have to wait in line to order for 20-30 minutes and then have to wait to get a table. Stick around though, it’s worth it!
Leeks Marina is about 5 miles north of the Colter Bay area. The Pizzeria is located at the north end of the parking lot.
These last two items are not actually in Grand Teton National Park but are definitely worth a mention.
14. Have Dinner and a Show With The Bar J Wranglers
I absolutely LOVE the Bar J Wranglers and I think it’s safe to say that this will be the best chuckwagon you have ever been to. The food is yummy and the entertainment is phenomenal! I have probably been a dozen times and every time it is a different show with great music and hilarious jokes. Get there early to get a good seat!
15. Whitewater Rafting
The Snake River is a blast to go whitewater rafting on and is a must-do if you can. Not only are the rapids amazing, but the scenery is gorgeous and it’s just an all-around good time. Many different companies set up shop in Jackson and then shuttle you out to the river. I have gone rafting through Mad River Boat Trips many times and always have a fabulous ride!
